Welcome to Antwerp Diamond Market (“Antwerp Diamond Market”, “ADM”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms of Service apply to the use of our website, online services, purchases, showroom services, and order collection arrangements.

By accessing or purchasing through www.antwerpdiamondmarket.com, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our applicable store policies.

1. General Conditions

Product prices, specifications, availability, production times, and delivery estimates may change or require confirmation before an order is accepted.

Online transactions are processed securely through Shopify and/or approved payment service providers.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information provided by you is true, accurate, current, and complete.

Due to the high-value nature of diamonds and fine jewelry, Antwerp Diamond Market may request additional identity, payment, address, or order verification before processing an order, releasing an item, arranging shipment, or permitting collection.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel transactions where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, product availability, or payment verification, subject to applicable law.

2. Antwerp Diamond Market Sales & Services

Antwerp Diamond Market offers diamonds, fine jewelry, engagement rings, wedding jewelry, and custom or made-to-order jewelry through its online platform and Antwerp showroom.

Products may be sourced, manufactured, or fulfilled in cooperation with professional diamond suppliers, goldsmiths, manufacturers, laboratories, and logistics partners.

Where Antwerp Diamond Market accepts a customer's order through its platform, the applicable order confirmation, invoice, product specifications, and these Terms form part of the transaction.

Product availability is subject to final verification.

If a selected diamond, jewelry item, setting, or component becomes unavailable before final confirmation, Antwerp Diamond Market may contact the customer to offer an equivalent alternative or another appropriate solution.

3. Diamonds, Jewelry & Certification

Where a diamond is advertised as certified, the applicable laboratory certificate will be identified with the product or order.

Recognized laboratories may include, among others:

  • GIA — Gemological Institute of America

  • HRD Antwerp

  • IGI — International Gemological Institute

Customers are responsible for reviewing the specifications of the selected diamond or jewelry item before confirming their order.

High-value products may be supplied using security packaging, identifying documentation, serial numbers, or tamper-evident seals.

Any suspected substitution, certificate alteration, serial-number mismatch, or manipulation may require additional authentication before a return, service request, or claim is processed.

4. Deposit & Payment Terms

For eligible orders, customers may confirm their order by paying a 50% deposit.

The deposit forms part of the total purchase price.

The remaining 50% balance is payable according to the agreed delivery or collection arrangement and must be settled before the transaction is considered fully paid.

Different payment arrangements may be agreed in writing for individual orders.

For custom, personalized, bespoke, or made-to-order jewelry, production may begin once the deposit has been received and the relevant design, size, diamond, materials, or other specifications have been confirmed.

Once production of a custom or personalized item has commenced, cancellation or refund rights may be limited in accordance with applicable law.

Antwerp Diamond Market will not automatically charge a remaining balance solely because a fixed reservation period has expired, unless the customer has separately and validly authorized such a payment arrangement.

5. Custom, Personalized & Made-to-Order Jewelry

Customers may order jewelry manufactured or configured according to their individual specifications.

This may include:

  • Ring design or setting

  • Diamond selection

  • Metal type or color

  • Ring size

  • Engraving

  • Personalized design elements

  • Bespoke jewelry

  • Other customer-selected specifications

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming their selected specifications before production.

Custom-made or clearly personalized products may be exempt from statutory withdrawal rights where permitted by applicable consumer law.

Verified manufacturing defects remain subject to applicable statutory rights.

6. Returns, Adjustments & Resizing

Returns, adjustments, and resizing requests are governed by our Return & Adjustment Policy and applicable consumer protection law.

For eligible rings or bracelets, Antwerp Diamond Market may provide one complimentary resizing adjustment, subject to the conditions stated in our Return & Adjustment Policy and the technical suitability of the jewelry.

Custom, personalized, bespoke, and made-to-order items may be subject to different cancellation and return conditions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Shipping, Insurance & Delivery

Orders may be shipped using insured professional courier services appropriate for high-value goods.

Depending on destination and availability, logistics providers may include services such as:

  • Malca-Amit

  • FedEx

  • Other approved insured logistics providers

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs procedures, security checks, courier operations, destination requirements, or events outside our reasonable control.

International customers are responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges unless otherwise stated or agreed.

Shipments remain subject to the applicable shipping, insurance, and consumer-protection rules until delivery is completed.

Customers should inspect packages upon receipt and promptly report suspected damage, tampering, or delivery discrepancies.

8. Antwerp Showroom & Personal Collection

Customers may choose to visit our Antwerp showroom to inspect diamonds or jewelry and collect eligible orders personally.

Showroom visits, diamond inspections, consultations, and collections are available by appointment.

During an arranged showroom appointment, customers may inspect the relevant item, review applicable certification and specifications, and complete their collection in person.

9. International Customer Accommodation Benefit

Customers travelling to Antwerp from outside Belgium for a confirmed order may be eligible for one complimentary night of accommodation in or near the Antwerp Diamond District.

The accommodation must be arranged and confirmed by Antwerp Diamond Market before travel and is subject to availability.

This benefit applies to qualifying confirmed orders both below and above €5,000.

The accommodation benefit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a cash payment.

10. €5,000+ Antwerp Visit Benefit — Complimentary Accommodation + €100 Travel Benefit

Customers travelling from outside Belgium to personally inspect or collect a confirmed order with a total purchase value of €5,000 or more are eligible for both of the following benefits:

  • One complimentary night of accommodation in or near the Antwerp Diamond District

  • €100 travel benefit, provided as a €100 reduction from the qualifying order total

This means qualifying customers receive both one complimentary overnight stay and a €100 travel benefit when visiting Antwerp for their order.

The €100 travel benefit is not payable in cash and is limited to a maximum of €100 per qualifying order.

The complimentary accommodation and €100 travel benefit must be arranged and confirmed with Antwerp Diamond Market before travel and are subject to the applicable booking and availability conditions.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, promotional benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.

11. Payment & Billing

Customers must use an approved payment method provided or accepted by Antwerp Diamond Market.

For orders placed using the 50% deposit option:

  • 50% is paid to confirm the order

  • The remaining 50% is paid according to the agreed delivery or collection arrangement

An order is not considered fully paid until all amounts due have been received.

Antwerp Diamond Market may delay production, shipment, or collection where a required payment has not been received or verified.

Fraudulent, unauthorized, disputed, or suspicious transactions may be investigated and, where appropriate, reported to payment providers, financial institutions, insurers, or competent authorities.

12. Security & Fraud Prevention

Because Antwerp Diamond Market handles high-value diamonds and jewelry, additional security procedures may apply.

We may request reasonable verification of:

  • Customer identity

  • Billing information

  • Shipping address

  • Payment authorization

  • Collection identity

  • Order ownership

Orders may be temporarily held while security or payment verification is completed.

These measures are intended to protect customers, Antwerp Diamond Market, payment providers, and logistics partners against fraud and unauthorized transactions.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, website content owned by Antwerp Diamond Market, including text, branding, logos, original product descriptions, graphics, design elements, and proprietary digital content, is protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Third-party trademarks, certificates, product data, photographs, or other materials remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of protected Antwerp Diamond Market content is prohibited.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Antwerp Diamond Market will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects mandatory consumer rights.

15. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law, including relevant Belgian and European consumer protection rules where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections or rights granted by the law applicable to that consumer.

Any jurisdiction or dispute-resolution provision will apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

Antwerp Diamond Market may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, or applicable law.

The version published on our website at the time of the relevant transaction will apply, subject to mandatory legal requirements.
