Return & Adjustment Policy
1. Final Sale — In-Store Purchases
All purchases made in our Antwerp showroom are final.
Customers are given the opportunity to fully inspect the item, certificates, and specifications before completing the purchase. Once payment is completed in the showroom, the sale is considered final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
2. Online Purchases — Limited Return Conditions
Due to the certified and high-value nature of our diamonds and jewelry, returns are accepted under strictly controlled conditions.
All items are shipped in tamper-evident security packaging that allows visual inspection of the product without opening the seal.
All in-store purchases are final. Customers are given the opportunity to carefully inspect the product, certificates, and specifications before completing the purchase.
If the security seal is opened, broken, or tampered with, the product is considered used and will not be eligible for return or exchange.
The following situations are not eligible for return:
• Change of mind
• Preference changes (e.g. “I don’t like it”)
• Incorrect size ordered by the customer
• Broken or opened security seal
• Missing certificate, packaging, or documentation
• Any signs of wear, damage, resizing, or alteration
• Claims made after 14 days from delivery
• Any indication of tampering, manipulation, or fraud
The only exception to this policy is the one-time resizing service, under the strict conditions described below.
3. Custom, Personalized & Made-to-Order Items
Custom-made pieces, engraved items, special orders, and products manufactured to a customer's specifications cannot be returned or refunded, except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect.
This includes:
• Engraved jewelry
• Custom ring sizes not listed on the website
• Made-to-order pieces
• Personalized designs
• Modified stones or bespoke settings
These products are exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law, as they are produced specifically for the customer.
4. One-Time Resizing Service
If a ring or bracelet does not fit, the customer may request one resizing adjustment within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for resizing, all of the following conditions must be met:
• The request is made within 14 days of delivery
• The item is unworn, undamaged, and unaltered
• The item is returned in the original box with all certificates and documentation
• The tamper-evident security seal remains intact and unopened
• The seal serial number matches the invoice and certificate
• The jewelry design is structurally suitable for resizing (some models may not allow resizing)
Resizing Terms
The first resizing is provided free of charge.
Any additional resizing requests will be subject to standard service fees determined by Antwerp Diamond Market.
5. Security Packaging & Tamper-Evident Seal
All items are shipped inside a clear security bag with a unique serial-numbered tamper-evident seal.
This system allows customers to visually inspect the product without breaking the seal.
If the seal is:
• broken
• tampered with
• replaced
• or does not match the documentation
the item is considered used and resizing, exchange, or return will not be accepted.
6. Shipping, Insurance & Return Costs
All online orders are shipped via insured professional courier services.
For approved resizing requests:
• Return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Antwerp Diamond Market may offer complimentary or subsidized return shipping at its discretion.
• Antwerp Diamond Market is not responsible for loss or damage during return shipment if the package is not properly insured.
7. How to Request Resizing
Customers requesting resizing must contact us at:

The request must include:
• Order number
• Photos of the sealed package (if available)
• Desired new size
Once the request is reviewed, Antwerp Diamond Market will issue a Return Authorization Code (RAC) along with shipping instructions.
8. Fraud Prevention & Authentication
Antwerp Diamond Market maintains strict anti-fraud and authentication procedures.
Any evidence of:
• tampered security seals
• replaced or altered certificates
• mismatched serial numbers
• previous resizing or modification
• attempts to manipulate or falsify claims
will result in immediate rejection of the request and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
9. Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy affects the statutory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
10. Reservation & Deposit Policy
48-Hour Reservation
Customers may reserve an item for 48 hours by paying a 20% deposit through our secure checkout system.
Showroom Inspection
During this reservation period, customers may visit our Antwerp showroom to inspect the item in person.
If the Customer Chooses Not to Proceed
If the customer visits the showroom within the 48-hour period and decides not to proceed with the purchase, the deposit will be fully refunded.
No Visit / No Cancellation
If the customer does not visit the showroom and does not cancel the reservation within 48 hours:
• the reservation becomes binding
• the remaining balance may be charged to the original payment method
• the deposit becomes part of the total purchase price
Collection After Full Payment
Once full payment has been completed, the item may be collected at a mutually agreed date.
Availability & Verification
All reservations are subject to product availability and final verification by Antwerp Diamond Market.
